Angelous, also known as Angy or Stewy, was the eighth President of the Illuminati X, first serving from 2004-2005 and again in 2007. He also served as Illuminati X Head of Foreign Affairs (2004-2005), SOL Commander of Foreign Affairs (2005-2006) under the "Stewy" alias, and as Vice President of the Illuminati X (2007).

Early career

Angelous joined the Illuminati X in early 2002 after playing some time with the Sons of Liberty. Angelous rose up the IX ranks quickly and became a prominent Officer of Foreign Affairs by 2004. At this time he was also advising Militia X on foreign affairs. Angelous was later named Head of Foreign Affairs that year.

First presidency

Angelous eventually became the eighth President of the Illuminati X, succeeding de1i in December 2004. Angelous served as an external president along with co-president DTA, who handled internal duties. Angelous served in this office from December 1, 2004, to June 3, 2005.

Angelous was first responsible for organizing the successful Seventh IX-SOL War immediately after IX's two consecutive defeats in the Stooges War and World War IX.

Angelous then worked at gaining allied support for IX and establishing a coalition. He was able to lure MD, PDM, and SoF from supporting ARROW and SOL, and getting them to create a new coalition. This coalition formed during the spring of 2005 just as Angelous was planning a massive war against ARROW and SOL in reprisal for World War IX. Angelous and his allies then started World War X in April 2005. Project Arcturus won a crushing victory against the ARROW/SOL bloc.

However, Angelous was forced to step down from the IX presidency in the first days of June 2005. He mistakenly sent a message to the membership of IX which showed him coordinating the running of a few multies with another IX player. President DTA removed his account soon after and Floyd and Kaiser became co-presidents in July 2005.

Stewy of SOL

Angelous continued having a considerable effect on Earth politics by playing his hand at running wars and affecting pacting schemes with his own political clout. Most notably, he did this by using his "Stewy" alias and becoming the Foreign Relations Commander of SOL during the fall of 2005, at a crucial time in which IX and SOL became allied. He also returned to IX as a presidential advisor to Floyd and Kaiser in the fall of 2005. Angelous continued playing as "Stewy" in SOL and advising in IX for nearly a year until he retired again in October 2006. At that point he disclosed on Alliance Talk that Stewy was his alias.

Return to IX leadership

Angelous returned to active IX duty in February 2007, becoming Vice President of IX under presidents Floyd and Warrior. His co-Vice President was Duque. Angy assisted President Floyd during this time in the execution of the Axis Wars. However, IX was defeated in both the Second and the Third Axis Wars of the spring and early summer of 2005.

Second presidency

President Warrior retired in April 2007 and Floyd eventually appointed Angelous co-President of IX on June 26, 2007. Angelous then worked with Floyd at reversing the course of the Axis Wars and was able to turn the tide for IX with a victory in the Fourth Axis War. Floyd then retired in August 2007 and Angelous appointed his former co-president DTA as Floyd's replacement. Angelous eventually retired in November 2007 after the Axis Wars had been won.
