Duque is an IX field marshal who was the third President of the Illuminati X from 2002 to 2003. He is the current Vice President of the Illuminati X, since March 2007. Duque also served as EoS Head of War (1999), Don of La Famiglia (2000), and Illuminati X Head of War (2000-2002).

Early days
Duque began playing in Scarface's EoS alliance during 1998 and became that alliance's Head of War. Fighting and leading in failed campaigns against SOL and UCN, Duque learned the basics of war-leading which he would use superbly in the future.
Duque joined LaF after EoS collapsed in the spring of 1999. There he went up the ranks and eventually reigned as Don of LaF for several resets in the spring and summer of 2000. His LaF was aggressive and participated against SOL in the Elitez-SOL War of 2000. Duque then stepped down from the presidency of LaF and joined the rising IX.
Early IX days
Duque became a co-Head of War in IX along with Tbody and led several important campaigns in the Legacy and . He again served as a war leader under President DTA in the fall of 2001, speerheading IX's efforts in World War VI. Duque also worked a de facto vice president under the reigns of DeityLord and DTA.
Presidency
He was finally asked to lead IX once President DeityLord stepped down in February 2002 and left the alliance. Duque became President of the Illuminati X in March 2002, along with co-President Scarface. Duque immediately worked to establish IX as a superpower and contender for top alliance, defeating RAGE, SOL and Ragnarok in the First LCN-SOL War. Duque then led IX's war efforts during the First Ivy League War, where IX and the rest of the Ivy League coalition defeated the anti-coalition.
In August 2002, IX won the total networth title and Duque and Scarface shifted IX away from The Ivy League. Duque finally pitted IX against the Ivy League by leading a then record-setting attack against PDM during the Second Ivy League War of late 2002. IX joined the anti-coalition and eventually defeated TIL, later becoming a key integrant of the new NATO coalition that formed after the war. Duque then led IX's defense against bots and campaigned IX to victory in the NATO War of February-March 2003. Scarface retired in March 2003 and Duque continued as sole president.
Duque ultimately stepped down from the presidency in May 2003. Mega succeeded him.
Comebacks
Duque took a break from the game in 2003 but later returned as a presidential advisor to Mega in late 2003. He also played as a veteran in 2004 and advised President de1i.
Duque returned to leading in major campaigns during 2004 and early 2005, advising many new war leaders of the War Department and being instrumental for the IX cause in conflicts such as World War IX. For those and past services, Duque was given the title of Field Marshal of the Illuminati X, the highest military rank in IX, on February 2005. He also continued his advising services to Presidents Angelous and DTA into 2005.
Duque went on hiatus at the start of Floyd and Kaiser's reign in August 2005. He received the title of Illuminatus and was inducted into the Illuminated Hall in December 2005, a recognition given in honor of his many years of distinguished service and leadership in IX.
Duque returned once again in December 2006 to advise President Warrior. He also took a more active role in IX's wars of late 2006 and early 2007, serving as a field commander in the Fifth IX-SoF War, the IX-IVAN War, and the First Axis War.
Vice presidency
Duque was named Vice President of IX on March 13, 2007, marking his return to leadership four years after his prior retirement from leadership. Duque has since then been a major IX military leader during 2007, serving in the Second, Third, and Fourth Axis Wars, as well as the friendly Eleventh IX-SOL War. He has provided policy support to presidents Floyd, Angelous, DTA and Prankster.
