In 2001, a co-worker turned RLintz onto a game called Earth 2025, hosted on swirve.com. Basically, he was told, "you start with some land, and build a country..." (you know the speil). After a few years of playing, he wanted something more from the game. So he started a clan called Ares on Earth 2025's Free For All server around 2004. The clan grew until 2006, when RLintz's available time to play became diminished due to going through a divorce. The game rules had changed and Ares dissolved in late 2007. In 2009, Swirve shut the game down.

October 5th, 2010, an old Ares clan mate (JJosh), advised RLintz that Earth 2025 was back and under a new name, Earth Empires. With it's return, came the old rules that we started under.

All glad to have ROSCO Back as our VP :) Though we do miss our Pebkac..

The dates are approximate but gives a good outline of how FFA Ares evolved,

HAIL ARES!
