A round or reset is a term used to describe the games time frame on a given server. This term and reset are often used interchangeably, although reset remains the dominant form.
Each round is a portion of time, from the start of the game in which players begin new countries and the end of the game when players may no longer play.
Unlike many other games, Earth Empires is a cyclical game, meaning that each game is played in rounds, and at the end of each round, the game starts over again. Round lengths are determined by the server being played on, specified from the portal page as to when the beginning and end dates are for the current round.
