History

Vic was introduced to Earth2025 in the fall of 1997, during his 6th grade school year. He first played in primary - where he earned respect as a strong netgainer with multiple top 20 finishes prior to 2001. It was in 1999, however, that Vic became a co-founder of ARROW as their 'Chancellor of Operations'.

In that same year he became an integral part of the early founding leadership of TIE. Forging deep ties to politically connected heads such as Salas, Ant, and Viper. It was through this identity 'Orbit', that Vic's first color - Mr. Strawberry, was linked. (It was through his RJ identity - Head FA of STEEL, that Mr Mango was linked, and to Don Vic of LaF that Mr Clear was linked).

Vic later joined RED and was a Head there from 2000-2002. Vic quickly gained a reputation for placing a country in or near the t10 every reset, only to be suicided toward the end of each set. Many attributed this to his crass manner on Alliance Talk. He finished t10 three times before his retirement in 2004: once for LaF, once for STEEL, and once more for RD.

By early 2002, Vic joined LaFamiglia and quickly rose up the ranks. At different times he headed the Bambinos, was IA, FA, and finally Head of FA and Political Advisor as Don Vic. Many credit Vic's meteoric rise to his relationship with Hanlong. He was also particularly close with Don Tob, Slowme, Turtle Crawler, and other LaF heads.

Vic is best known for his multiple identities in Earth 2025 - many of which held head positions in top alliances. Vic's retirement in 2004 was marked by an expose video that he and Eclisod created. In it he revealed all of his identities, his RD colours, and some of his past dealings as head in multiple alliances. The 'scandal' rocked Earth, and the video was downloaded thousands of times in the first month after its release. Mehul Patel also watched the video. It is commonly accepted as the most legendary retirement in the history of both Earth 2025 and Earth Empires.

Influence

As Head FA 'RJ', he ran STEEL with Viper - who noted Vic as one of the most influential and connected players in earth 2025, during the 2004 retirement video made by Eclisod. At the same time that RJ was Head FA of STEEL and Don Vic was FA and Political Advisor of LaF, Vic was also second in command of FBI to Zen. Thanks to these collective positions of influence, Vic remains to this day the only player in Earth History to have signed FDP's with himself, having the power to change server dynamics and politics at his whim.

Vic was also responsible for the LaF x RED merger in 2003 - bringing heads in both alliances together after many said it simply would not and could not happen. To this day, many of the core RED members that came over in that merger are still in LaF, now old and honored LaF veterans, many of them Dons. This is commonly considered Vic's greatest and most lasting legacy in LaF.

In 2003, along with HLW, Bakku, Blubb, and Xinhuan, Vic ran one of LaF's famed TTR's. This too was suicided once Vic entered the t10 near set end. This was the 3rd time in 2003 that Vic had a t10 country suicided upon toward the last weeks of the set. Each time, he abandoned the country. He had said 'if it isn't a t10, it isn't worth keeping'

At the time of his retirement and in all of his revelations, Vic never exposed any RD colours, or any secrets of any of the major alliances. In fact, he only exposed himself. Many consider this to be the ultimate bad ass and most loyal move of all time. When asked what LaF would do with Vic, HLW responded: 'hlw Member Jul 29th, 2004 14:56 booting a retired guy? yeh ;) i don't think it really matters, considering vic isn't playing anymore ;)'

In 2004 Vic was rated one of the Top 100 AT'ers of All Time (ranked by Eclisod)

RD

Vic's favor in RD grew quickly thanks to his relationships with both Ronnie and Viper. He was also particularly close with Mr. Cobalt, Mr. Tan, and Mr. Lemon Chiffon. He retired from RD in 2004 with 3 colors, never having ran more than 1 country, never having run a bot, and never having been a JR.

Gentleman's Club

Vic founded Gentleman's Club as Gentleman A and invited the most elite and connected heads from major alliances, along with top RD colors to join in early 2004. Members included: Ronnie, don slowme, Mr. Teal, Mr. LC, maelstrom/sean, h4x0r wang0r, Mr Thistle, don scrub, pele, Zen, Mr. Tan, striker, Mr. Graphite, Mr. Reseda, Mr. henna, Helmet, Mr. Nickel, Turtle Crawler, Mr. Cobalt, Viper, Ant, Don Tob, don ACCI, mike1, don keyd, and the infamous Yheti.

Syndicate

Syndicate was another elite all-star alliance that Vic was a head of (as Head IA). Founded by Number 1 Stunna, the Head list was a 'Who's Who' of earth2025:

President - #1 Stunna (#96965577), Head FA - Scrub (#91891511), Vice President (FA) - hanlong (#36923162), Vice President (IA) - PhatJap (#33163542) , Head IA - Vic (#330896041), Head War/Retal - Murf (#126927832), Webmaster - Yheti (Please do not contact)

Assistant FA - bakku (#17425847), Assistant FA - AzN RuffRyder (#151689158), Assistant IA - TheALB (Please do not contact) ,Assistant IA - BlackFire (Please do not contact).

In the alliance's initial AT post it was announced that membership was closed to new members, creating an elitist private club like image to envious outsiders.

Earth Empires success

Vic returned to Earth Empires in August of 2012 after an 8 year hiatus from the game. He played until Jan 2014 before another hiatus, this time just a year long. In his 2012-2013 return Vic posted multiple top 10 finishes in Alliance and several top 20 finishes as well (including 3 top 5 non land traders). His 2nd place finish followed by a 7th place finish the next reset put Vic in an elite netgaining category of very few to post back to back t10s in alliance. More importantly, they were both non-landtraders in resets where over 80% of the top 50 players land traded. Vic said, "I will never landtrade. I am an earth purist, I don't care what the rest of you do, I will never. and I mean never. landtrade." Vic has finished top non land trader multiple times on alliance; the only player to ever do so.

He also posted several top 5 finishes in Express - many in a row, and 2nd place finishes there as well. In his return set after 8 years away, Vic was an aFR in LaF, a position he had held 10 years prior, and head of recruitment of RD, still retaining his original colors Mr. Clear and Mr. Strawberry.

It was in his most recent return that Vic solidified himself as one of the greatest netgainers of the modern era. In an elite category of netgainers, Vic is one of a very few players with consecutive wins and wins on multiple servers. In his return reset in Jan 2015 after over a year hiatus, Vic posted a 4th place express finish. Prolific player Silentwolf said of the finish, "Vic.. awesome comeback .. welcome back bro !" In the following months Vic went on a netgaining frenzy, posting multiple wins on Express server, a notable win on Team server and another t25 finish in Alliance (t5 non land trader). His 85m win on Team was during war - he had to jump early and FA his teammates which reduced his potential finishing NW. Even with these handicaps, Vic's country "Pro Destock" was the highest score in over a year, and the highest techer score in over 3 years. Similarly in Express, he made another prophetic country name "lol score" and executed perfectly with a 44m finish that at the time was the 3rd highest score in Express history.

During this same period Vic set the Express record for consecutive wins - 4 in a row, winning all 4 sets in the month of June. He retired from express when his would have been 5th win in a row was reduced to a 4th place finish due to an unprovoked topfeed that resulted in substantial land loss and major final NW loss.

In 2015 Vic became Head Recruiter of LaF, a position he had held in 2003. Vic awed the community by recruiting old Dons and other legends back to LaF and bringing many prominent solo server players to the alliance as well. Bringing LaFs numbers from the mid 30s to firmly above 50, these contributions have once more helped LaF retain its position as one of the strongest, if not the single strongest all around alliance in the game.

Vic is considered a "tier 1" player.
