Welcome to Earth Empires!
Earth Empires is a persistent browser based country simulation and strategy game. Join over a thousand fellow players in a quest to build the most powerful country in the game, through land exploration, strategic attacking, and carefully planned military deployment.

Create an Account
To get started, make an account and then create your country; once you've created a country, you can try playing your first turns.
Choose a server
Different Servers offer different benefits to different players. Some with "Teams" or "Clans" and others designed for "Free for All" type play. If you want to join a group of players just make a post in the appropriate forum to get started. Make sure your thread topic states your looking for a alliance.
Primary Server
The [Primary Server] is a massive free for all. Here you're on your own to find friends and protect your country!
Team Server
The [Team Server] is a place to play with a few friends to dominate the game. Each "team", "squad" or "clan" is made up of 4 players. If your new and want to play in the team server post in the forum and one of the many great clans will teach you the specific game play found only on the Team Server.
Alliance Server
The [Alliance Server] offers Alliances, Squads and Clans of unlimited size. Here you can play dozens of other team members all ready to teach you advanced tactics of the game. Remember just because they're big doesn't mean they're the best!
Free For All
The [Free For All Server] allows you to run up to 16 simultaneous countries. This will allow you to try multiple strategies at once. This server also has Unlimited Size clans and it is highly recommended to join one.
Express Server
The [Express Server] is for those who like it fast! With the fastest turns of all the other servers this server allows you to try new strategies in days not weeks. This is a great server for beginners because you can mess up your country and start over in a few days.
Tournament Server
The [Tournament Server] pits you against others in a battle for the top country. The server is broken into multiple games, where you must be in the top percentage of finishers to move up the ladder. You may keep your country from set to set, proving you run the best country time and time again.
Now Choose a Strategy
These are the 6 main strategies used in Earth Empires. It is highly recommended you "specialize" in one of these. Rainbow strategies are very ineffective in Earth Empires.
- Industrialist This is one of the easiest and fastest to start with. The purpose of this is to produce military strength.
- Casher This strategy is directed toward cold hard cash. You'll be producing money with this strategy.
- Farmer If you like farmville this will be boring! You'll be producing "bushels" or food with this strategy.
- Oiler Without Oil armies cant move! You'll be producing barrels of oil with this one.
- Techer The "techer" researches stuff. You'll be researching any of the 12 technologies that apply to Earth Empires.
- Reseller This will be buying military and reselling it. This is an end game and only recommended for advanced players.
Make Friends & Benefit your Country
In Earth Empires friends come with benefits!
You are allowed to make relations with other countries. You can have Defense, Offense, Research, Intelligence, and Trade relations. Each of these will benefit you or your friends. Click the relations link for more details.
Basics in Defence
In earth you need defense. Without it you WILL be farmed. Their are lots of methods to defend yourself. Just remember you've gotta have something, or you'll become someone else's farm!
- Defensive Defense - Have enough units with defensive attributes to keep others from attacking you. (most common)
- Offensive Defense - Have so many offensive units a player is scared to attack you. (this does not always work, and if you bully they will suicide you)
- Tag Defense - If your in a strong alliance, that can be defense enough! However if you rely on this and war comes you'll be in a tight situation. (very effective)
- Name Defense - Some guys simply make angry sounding names "Hit me i'll Chem You" suggests he'll send lots of missiles to you if you attack him. (not so effective)
Spies
Spies are very important in the game. You can steal, destroy and spy using them. If you do not have enough other countries can see your country with ease and you'll never know it. Using spies you can find good targets to land grab, and you'll know if others are trying to spy on you. Spies are very expensive for your country, so you'll have to keep a balance.
Sell on the market
Many strategies rely on selling on the market. Some even rely on "buying out" the market. If you play the market right you'll have a top 10 country with ease. Each server has different rules for the speed your product gets to the market. So read up on your server.
Private Market
The Private market is available to everyone. This is the cost to buy and sell to "Your" internal market. Resellers get the best prices, but many "Strategies" rely on this market to get your country started.
Public Market
The Public Market is the on you'll use the most. Here you'll sell directly to other players. Market prices will vary to keep this in mind when buying and selling. A great resource to watch market trends is [EEStats.com].
Stop the Farming
Getting farmed? Boost your defense, find some defensive allies or join a clan. Sometimes the big guys just pick on the little guys... You can always suicide on them. But its not likely to hurt them to much.
Suciders
This is a common strategy in Earth Empires. If you land grab someone to many times, or just keep picking on them. You should expect to be suicided on. Some players even suicide for the fun of it. Either way the best protection is a good "Full" defense and being courteous to others.
