Origins
The Alliance known as the Angels Of Destruction traces its origins back to the early days of the Free For All and Alliance servers, originally founded sometime around March 2000.
June-September 2004
After the Free For All server was re-opened in June 2004 after its initial closure on Jauary 11, 2004; Shi returned under the username NightShade and reformed Soldiers Of The Apocalypse. During the set the membership fluctuated and near the end of the set she’d had enough and decided to form a new alliance. At the conclusion of the June 2004 set, she resurrected Angels Of Destruction as a means of distancing herself from her previous alliance she had led, Soldiers Of The Apocalypse as it was assumed by her to have a negative connotation to its name after the original core membership of the alliance had long since moved on or had retired.
September-November 2004
At the start of the set, Angels Of Destruction (AOD) had six members and 60 countries, managing to achieve Top 25 rankings in Membership, Total Networth and Average Networth in their first set.
During this same set, NightShade had began negotiations with HeartBreak Kid (HBK) of D-Generation X of SworDs (SworDX) regarding a merger, after negotiations failed, HBK took it upon himself to declare war on Angels Of Destruction (zANGELSz) which had then only four members and 57 countries (originally started the set with 60). Due to two of the members of AOD being university students, and having exams that week, NightShade and Purgatori were the only two members online at the time of the SworDX first strike, after losing half of their tag, NightShade vowed that there would be revenge for their unprovoked attack.

November 2004-January 2005
Merger with MSI
After the conclusion of that set, NightShade spoke with WarTime, then the leader of Mindless Self-Indulgence also known as MSI, and agreed to a merger. At the beginning of the set the new alliance Self Indulgent Angels or “Mindless Angels of Destruction” (AODxMSI) became a massive alliance with a total networth of $775 million, outdoing everything NightShade had previously accomplished with SOTA in one set. After a period of three sets, AODxMSI merged with TAWNN to become Angels & Mindless Tyrants also known as AMT.
January-April 2005
Merger with TAWNN
After the merger of AODxMSI and TAWNN that resulted in AMT, NightShade went on a sabbatical for a while and left the leadership to Dallas and WarTime to deal with some of the issues she was having in real life, primarily having to move to a new home. Ryuko, being unaware of the events in FFA, WarTime had gone on hiatus to settle some of the issues with his marriage and left the leadership to Dallas and Patriot, who was one of the leaders of TAWNN that came over in the merger. During this time, Patriot took it upon himself in the absence of both to allow Bopper into the alliance and shortly thereafter Patriot and Bopper suicided Natural Born Killers aka NBK from the AMT tag resulting in AMT's total annihilation by NBK.
After NightShade returned from her hiatus, she found that the tag had been utterly destroyed and made an attempt to regroup the alliance under the AOD tag again with limited success. Seeing that there was too much controversy surrounding the tag, NightShade tried in vain to get the main core of members to come to AOD, and after playing through a set with a handful of members, she decided to wash her hands of Free For All and played solely in the Earth Council server.
