Axis War III
Axis War III, or the Third Axis War was a major conflict fought between the Axis and an alliance led by RAGE, from May 13, 2007 until June 30, 2007. Thirteen alliances and approximately 848 players were engaged in combat. The war ended in a tactical Allied victory and set the stage for Axis War IV.

Background and Preparations
This war is the third episode in the ongoing power struggle in the Earth Council server since all main alliances migrated from the Alliance Server to the Earth Council server (see Great Migration) and which had its first episode in the First Axis War fought during the January-February 2007 reset, which had an Axis victory, and the second episode in the Axis War II (2007), which ended in an Allied victory.
For this set some clans decided to netgain, like LaFamiglia and Unholy Monks, or at least tried to, like Elysium, Netters Anonymous and La Cosa Nostra.
Deletions this time hit the Axis side just before the wars started, with Natural Born Killers losing over 10 countries. . The issues that caused the war still are the same. They go from server domination to an attempt to put an end to the big coalitions that some clans think are poisoning server politics.

* IX (145 countries) attacked Elysium (42 countries), RAGE (85 countries) and Stones (19 countries) at 7pm of May 13, 2007. It was a FS of 6248 hits and 24 kills (counting the hits on Paradigm too). * Paradigm (65 members) attacked IX at 7:50pm of May 13, 2007. * By june 3rd, IX had around 16 mil total networth, 63 live members, 256k average networth and 1800 acres on average. Their biggest country had 2 mil networth, but was an inactive country in protection. Their top active guy had 350k net. Their adversaries had around 620 mil total networth.

Sons of Liberty Theater of Operations
SoL aimed to hit some of the clans that took part in the Axis War II, a few of which were trying to net this set (NA and LCN), trying to get a war with fair numbers, but ignoring Rival's wish for an one on one war that goes back to the times of the Alliance Server. Rival ended up hitting SoL anyway and, after some diplomatic maneuvers, a general cease fire was reached.

This war involved the clans iMaginary Numbers and Zero Tolerance in one side, and Natural Born Killers plus, somehow, Poetic Justice in the other side.

Survival of the Fittest vs. The Infernal Elite
Martian, president of Survival of the Fittest, talked the clan The Infernal Elite into fighting an one on one war. Both clans agreed to have a war close to the end of the 5th week of the reset, and they prepared their countries accordingly, with a sizable stock, lots of missiles and SDI.
The official reason for the war, as stated by martian, is a fight to the death for the control of nyaasex.
War Timeline
* Before the war starts, SoF attempts to reduce TIE's number advantage (around 15 countries) by recruiting new players in other servers and by bringing some old SOFers back to the clan from other tags. Some ECT drama ensues, which ends up with three countries leaving the SOF tag to go back to RAGE moments before the war starts. * The war starts at 12:09 Game Time, with TIE (123 countries) making the first hit on SoF (125 countries). Both sides make several chem kills of countries with over 80% of SDI. * Newsbots everywhere are lagged to hell in relaying the hits; for example, one TIE country is killed simultaneously and registered by the newsbot as taking 4 chems at 9 civs each. Each was registered as the killing blow. * By the end of the first wave, TIE is outhitting SoF by close to 1K hits, but SoF is outkilling TIE (16 kills for SoF vs. 13 kills for TIE). * All Earth:2025 servers go down after TIE's 2nd wave, but before SOF's 2nd wave. TIE had 6480 hits and 15 kills by then, while SoF still had the same 13 kills and 4897 hits. A few tinfoil hat players suggest in ECT that Mehul Patel signed a secret FDP with TIE. TIE gets bored, begins to randomly set off highlights and bother Nyaa. * By early june 8, TIE shows a clear advantage in hits (over 2700 more hits than SOF), kills (49 kills vs. 43 kills made by SoF), networth (still over 200 mil nw advantage over SoF) and restart rate (99 TIE countries tagged against 86 tagged SoF countries).
