Displays: "Some italic text"

Caption

Add an image

To add an inline, right-justified image like the one at right:

(Note that to align the top of that image with the section heading the image link is placed on the line above the heading.)

Image Gallery

An easy way of displaying several images in simple layout.

<gallery caption="Sample gallery" widths="80px" perrow="6">
File:EElogo wiki.jpg
File:EElogo wiki.jpg|Captioned
File:EElogo wiki.jpg
File:EElogo wiki.jpg|Links can be put in captions.
File:EElogo wiki.jpg
File:EElogo wiki.jpg|Full MediaWiki<br />syntax may now be used…
</gallery>

Example:

Add a Page to a Category

Categories should be placed at the end of pages. The category name will display in a bar at the bottom when the page is previewed or saved.

A sorting key may be added to categories. Adding a sort key will make the page show up outside of its natural alphabetic/numeric order.

The example above would put the Category "Category name" under the alphabetical listing of "N". This is useful when categorizing templates (which the namespace always begins with "T".

Link to a Category Page

To link to a category page, place a preceding : before the page title. Alternate text works as well (like normal links).

:Category:Category name
Alternate text

Section headings

A Table of Contents will automatically be generated when four headings are added to an article. If you do not wish a table of contents to be automatically generated, on the first line of the document, use the magic word: __NOTOC__
