TIL War II (2002)

TIL War II, or the Second Ivy League War, was a server conflict fought between The Ivy League and an anti-coalition led by ARROW, the Illuminati X, and the Sons of Liberty, from November 11 until December 30, 2002. The war ended with a decisive anti-coalition victory and led to the dissolution of the Ivy League. The war also led to the start of the Bot Wars in early 2003.

Ongoing Coalition/Anti-Coalition Enmity

Opposition to the coalition by SOL, ARROW, Steel, RAGE, etc. The First Ivy League War is not a decisive conflict as anti-coalition still seeks to end TIL. The Fourth SoF-SOL War ends in stalemate. Also, with IX and LCN out of TIL ranks, the coalition is weakened and this provides an opportunity for the anti-TIL.

SoF-Steel Dispute Leads to War's Outbreak

Immediate causation was a dispute between SoF and Steel over multi issues. SoF was hit by multies early in the reset and Helmet blamed it on Steel. Furthermore, Steel landgrabbed SoF on the second week of November, and the latter responded by killing a Steel country. Steel and its allies were by now on red alert and decided to take action immediately.

SALSA Taskforce Attacks

Steel responded to SoF's attack by staging a massive allied attack on SoF for the evening of November 11. SOL, ARROW, Lust, and TGA joined Steel's cause and attacked SoF. 14 SoF countries died immediately after 5,510 defends. SoF responded by having its coalition go on alert.

Deadly Battle

Omega played all techers and had the biggest breakers with the most cash. Marked for Death, 150 members of them, put out the games first 10k fs, breaking the news bot, killing 40 of Omegas 60 countries within 24 hrs. Omega surrendered and got out of the war.

Collapse of The Ivy League Coalition

The Ivy League collapsed after military defeat. MD, Omega, and PDM left the coalition on January 3, 2003, at the beginning of the following set.

SoF Looks for Revenge

SoF looked for revenge on the following set against IX. The Nato War takes place and SoF is crushed by IX, SOL & allies for the final time.
