A war chat is a kill run, or group of kill runs, coordinated by a War Chat Leader, with the aim of destroying a country, group of countries, alliance, group of alliances, or a coalition.

War chats are most commonly held on IRC, in a chat room of your alliance's choosing. Check with your alliance leaders about the whens and wheres of war chats.

How long a war chat lasts depends on how many turns each participant has, how many targets there are to kill, how many participants there are available, how long each killrun lasts, and how quick the warchat leader moves from target to target. The frequency of warchats per day is affected by many factors: how many participants available, the geographical location of all participants, the number of war chat leaders available to each alliance, and the strength of an alliance's enemies. Normally, the more warchats accomplished by an alliance, the better that alliance ends up at the end of the reset.
