Axis War II
Axis War II, or the Second Axis War, was a server war fought between the Axis and an allied coalition led by Elysium, Paradigm, Netters Anonymous, RAGE and SoF, from March 15 until April 30, 2007. Twenty-four alliances and approximately 1,615 players were engaged in combat. The war ended in a strategic Allied victory and set the stage for Axis War III.

Background and Preparations
This war was another episode in the ongoing power struggle in the Earth Council server since all main alliances migrated from the Alliance Server to the Earth Council server (see Great Migration) and which had its first episode in the First Axis War fought during the January-February 2007 reset.
This time the war involved clans that previously tried to stay neutral (SOF and Rival) and clans that stayed out of the First Axis War (Elysium, Netters Anonymous, Natural Born Killers, Stones, La Cosa Nostra and others).
The issues that caused the war go from server domination to an attempt to put an end to the big coalitions that some clans think are poisoning server politics.
War Timeline
* The war began on March 15, 2007 when Monks (48 members) attacked Zero Tolerance (44 members) at 8:47pm. ZT was crushed in the next couple of weeks, despite a short intervention from RAGE in the war.
* A 334 players task force composed of Elysium (69 members), Netters Anonymous (131 countries), RAGE (96 members), and Ragnarok (38 members) began attacking The Infernal Elite (137 countries) and IlluminiX (157 countries) at 9:32pm of the same day.
* La Famiglia (86 countries) entered the war at 2:54 am of March 16 in defense of IX and TIE, by attacking Elysium, NA, RAGE and Ragnarok.
* Natural Born Killers (48 countries) entered the war against Elysium, NA, RAGE, and Ragnarok at 6:42pm of March 16.
* Stones (28 members) entered the war against IX, LaF, NBK, and TIE at 7:06am of March 17.
* Survival of the Fittest (120 members), after telling SLIT that it would strike NA, entered the war in a 1v1 against Sons of Liberty (125 members) at 11:57am of March 17. SOF's FS is the biggest one in the war, with 8025 hits and 25 kills.
* Paradigm (78 members) entered the war against IX, SOL, and TIE at 1:21pm of March 17. It makes a FS of 2373 hits and 9 kills.
* SOL declared war on Elysium, NA, PDM, RAGE, Ragnarok, and ZT at 3:04pm of March 17.
* Rival (121 countries) attacked La Famiglia (88 countries) at 3:09pm of March 17. It is the second biggest FS of the war, with 6874 hits and 27 kills.
* La Cosa Nostra entered the war against IX, NBK and TIE at 3:10pm of March 17. LaF starts to hit LCN in april 20, and LCN start to hit back in april 22.
* Rogue entered the war against SoF (breaking a pact) and PDM at 7:36pm of March 17. Elysium, LCN, NA, RAGE and Ragnarok attacked them soon after.
* DU entered the war against PDM at 10:23am of March 18. Elysium, NA, RAGE, and Ragnarok attacked them soon after.
* On March 18 IX, LaF, TIE, SoL, NBK (breaking a pact) started a joint and unsuccessful effort to tag kill SOF, abandoning such effort 2 days later. The result of it was that SOF started to lead joint chats with the allieds, increasing their effectivity and getting lots of Axis breakers killed.
* Imaginary Numbers entered the war against DU, IX, NBK and TIE at 2:02pm of March 18.
* SX entered the war against Elysium, LCN, PDM, and RAGE at 5:30pm of March 18.
* 16 NA countries are deleted by Swirve Administration.
* TD entered the war against RAGE & allies, March 21.
* USIMP (31 countries) entered the war against RAGE (91 countries by then), March 22.
* ThunderDragons and Rogue are tag killed, March 23. TD was a real tag kill.
* TIE is tag killed, March 28.
* USIMP and RAGE Cease Fire, March 29.
* Having tagkilled LaF, Rival FS'd SoL at 12:10pm of April 1.
* Despite the lack of an official Cease Fire, the last hit between the clans Unholy Monks and Zero Tolerance is exchanged around 5:00 am of April 6.
* Sanctuary (55 countries) entered the war against Netters Anonymous (68 countries by then) in April 11, killing 2 countries in their FS. RAGE (with 90 countries and maybe breaking a pact), Paradigm (61 countries), Imaginary Numbers (31 countries), Elysium (43 countries) and Ragnarok (24 countries) start to hit Sanctuary in defense of Netters Anonymous, killing 10 in the first 12 hours and forcing Sanctuary into a Cease Fire by the following day.
* Blood Soaked Skulls (13 countries) declared war against Ragnarok (22 countries by then) in defense of Natural Born Killers, April 12. RAGE, Imaginary Numbers and Paradigm start to hit BSS in defense of Ragnarok.
* SOF FS BSS at 11:00 am, april 14. Together with the allieds, they reduce BSS to 2 tagged countries in the first 12 hours, and tagkill it in the following day.
* Thunder Dragons is tag killed for real again in april, 14.
* Imaginary Numbers Ceases Fire in april 21 so they can have a friendly war with Sanctuary for the rest of the set.
The Allies Gain the Initiative
By April 7th 2007, the war had become a slaughter and the causulties were felt on the EC boards. Only the Allies were left, though a few new clans like BSS and the short participation of Sanctuary brought some small entertainment for the Allied players during this phase of the war.

The Imaginary Numbers vs. Sanctuary Friendly War
By the last 10 days of the set, iMag players were bored out of their minds with killing 1 mil NW countries and, worst of all, astonished at the fact that, for once in their lives, iMag was not being gang banged or tag killed yet. Attempts by the iMag non-leadership of iScode to satiate iMag players bloodlust with fresh (and silky) sheep proved fruitless. So something had to be done, and quickly!
Sanctuary players, after suffering through an awesome AB preemptive FS from CrownOfThorns, followed by the crushing of said clan in what turned out to be a quick war, and then a frustrating one on one war with Netters Anonymous that was taken as an involvement in the server war by the Allieds (resulting in two NA countries killed and 10 sanctuary countries lost in 12 hours), were bored out of their minds and without knowing wtfluff to do with their countries for the last 15 days of the set. So something had to be done, and quickly as well!
First thing (or fifth, who knows) that came to their mind was iScode's fresh (and silky) sheep.
Then a meting of minds occurred, iMag got a Cease Fire from all main Axis clans and a date was set for the friendly war between iMag and Sanctuary.
The war started around 18:00, april 22, with iMag drawing first blood.
Although we can't say that there is a winner in the war, we could say that iMag shows a better performance by endset.
