Sinister is the name of an primary/alliance server player that started to play Earth:2025 in 1997 within the Primary server. In 1998, He moved over to alliance server and played till 2003. Sinister came out of retirement in 2006 and continued to play in the Alliance server until Earth:2025 was shut down. He is now playing in the Alliance server of Earth Empires under the alias Torran.
Clan History
Sinister first started out playing in the Primary server with a group of high school friends. In 1998, they moved over to the Alliance server and joined up with The Yale Alliance led by YaleRob. There he learned basic Alliance strats and politics, which eventually earned him the position of Vice President of Yale. Due to Yale's small membership base of 25-30 members, the clan took a beating every set and eventually merged into Sons of Liberty as a division. Sinister became the Assistant Squad Leader under YaleRob.
Favoring the feel of a small alliance, Sinister left SoL and joined The Sith Empire, then commanded by Tate as Exar was in the process of moving. Sinister's five school friends followed him and they established a spy squad within TSE known as The Syndicate of Imperial NationS (SINS). TSE was slightly larger then Yale, approximately 40-45 members on average. Sinister rose to become third in command of TSE 1A before deciding to try his hand at running his own clan.
As usual Sinister's five schoolmates joined up with him along with a few of his TSE friends to form the SINS clan. They managed to gain about 30 members before the stresses of running a small clan caught up. After talking with several members, they agreed to close down SINS and Sinister retired from Earth in 2003.
In 2006, Sinister returned to Earth:2025 Alliance server and joined up with The Neofederation, whom he had remembered helping out during the 'Marx Era' in NeoFed's history. He remained there for a number of sets before a dispute in the leadership erupted and several members of Neo left to start a new alliance. Sinister went with them for personal reasons and became Head of Internal Affairs of the new clan, Skulls. Skulls immediately became an outpost of Survival of the Fittest but after a set, Sinister missed Neo and so returned to it.
Since then, he has changed his name to Torran and has served as Neo's Speaker of The House, Web Designer, Head of Internal Affairs, and DarkFed Squad Leader.
